DryDock Kit
License
One purchase gives you a perpetual, worldwide license to the complete source code of the edition you bought. There are two tiers: Developer (you) and Teams (up to 10 collaborators, including client work). This page summarises them; the full license text is what applies.
The two tiers
| Developer | Teams | |
|---|---|---|
| Who may work with the source | 1 named developer (you) | Up to 10 named collaborators in one organization at a time |
| Your own products | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Your employer's products | Yes, as that employer's single licensed developer | Yes |
| Client projects (products owned by someone else) | No | Unlimited |
| Hand an End Product's source to its owner (client) | — | Yes, see §5 |
| Modify the code | Yes | Yes |
| Deploy and charge your users | Yes | Yes |
| Use AI coding assistants on the code | Yes (§6) | Yes (§6) |
| Resell or share the kit itself, free or paid | No | No |
| Publish the source publicly | No | No |
| Updates included | All 1.x releases | All 1.x releases |
What you build with it
You may build and sell End Products: applications or services that deliver functionality substantially beyond the kit itself. A starter kit, boilerplate, template, scaffold or code generator is never an End Product, so you can't build a competing kit from it.
Updates, tier changes and refunds
Every 1.x release is included; a 2.0 may be a paid upgrade. To move from Developer to Teams, email support@drydockkit.com and pay the difference. Refunds follow the refund policy in force when you bought.
Before you rely on it
The license says so itself: it's a working document that hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer in every jurisdiction where it may be used. If your use is unusual, have it reviewed. Questions go to support@drydockkit.com.
